THE SILENT WITNESS explores the tension between being seen and remaining unseen. A moment in which silence becomes its own form of testimony, carrying what cannot be spoken and preserving what time would otherwise erase.

The witness remains.

DETAILS

THE SILENT WITNESS is presented as an archival pigment Giclée print on Hahnemühle German Etching 310 gsm — a heavyweight, slightly warm-white fine-art paper with a distinctive textured matte surface, selected for its tactile character, tonal depth and rich blacks.

The work is professionally presented in a minimal black FSC-certified solid-wood frame with 3 mm clear acrylic glazing, an acid-free insert and a rigid rear panel.

The framed artwork is carefully prepared for display and arrives ready to hang.

The sole physical edition is individually produced, marked 1/1 and permanently recorded in the HOUR1207 Studio Archive.

ARCHIVE EDITION

Edition designation: Archive 1/1

THE SILENT WITNESS is released as the sole physical edition of this artwork issued by HOUR1207.

Following acquisition, the edition will be permanently closed in the HOUR1207 Studio Archive. HOUR1207 will not produce, issue or sell another physical edition of the same artwork.

HOUR1207 may retain digital archival documentation and present images of the work for provenance, archive, portfolio, exhibition, editorial, press and promotional purposes. Such use does not constitute the production or sale of another physical edition.

Ownership of the physical Archive 1/1 edition does not transfer copyright, reproduction, licensing or other intellectual property rights. Further information is available in the HOUR1207 Intellectual Property policy.

AUTHENTICATION

THE SILENT WITNESS is issued as the sole physical Archive 1/1 edition and is individually marked 1/1.

The artwork bears an artist-authorized digital signature applied during the archival printing process.

An official HOUR1207 Certificate of Authenticity is physically included with the artwork. It records the artwork title, edition number, print size, paper type, date of issue and artist attribution.

A dedicated collector’s letter accompanies the work.

The edition is registered in the HOUR1207 Studio Archive and will be permanently closed following acquisition.

Individually produced and framed for the collector. Please allow 10–15 business days for preparation and tracked U.S. delivery.

Delivery follows by tracked courier, and tracking information is provided by email after dispatch.

The work is carefully protected and securely packaged for transportation.

ARCHIVE 1/1 ORDER SUPPORT

THE SILENT WITNESS is a unique Archive 1/1 artwork, produced individually for its collector.

To preserve the integrity of this exclusive physical edition, orders become final once production begins. Cancellations, returns or exchanges due to a change of mind are not available after this point.

If the artwork arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, or is lost in transit, please contact HOUR1207 within 30 days so we can arrange an appropriate resolution, including a full refund or replacement where applicable, in accordance with applicable law.

To maintain the Archive 1/1 designation, any replacement will be coordinated with the return or verified destruction of the original damaged artwork, where reasonably possible and legally permitted. No additional authorized physical edition will remain in circulation.

CARE

Handle the framed artwork with clean, dry hands.

Clean the acrylic glazing and frame gently using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid abrasive materials, chemical cleaning agents and excessive moisture.

For long-term preservation, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, excessive humidity and significant temperature fluctuations.
