When Maximum data sharing is enabled through Shopify, information may be transmitted through both browser-based technologies and server-to-server connections. Maximum data sharing may use TikTok Pixel, Events API, Advanced Matching, Shopify APIs, and other supported TikTok measurement technologies.

Hashing is a security measure, but hashed identifiers may still constitute personal information under applicable law.

TikTok may match information received from our store with information associated with TikTok users and process it for measurement, attribution, advertising delivery, security, and other purposes described in its applicable terms and privacy notices.

TikTok’s role may vary depending on the processing activity and applicable jurisdiction. TikTok may act as a processor, service provider, joint controller, or independent controller, as described in its business product and jurisdiction-specific terms.

We do not intentionally send TikTok complete payment-card numbers, account passwords, government identification numbers, medical information, or other categories prohibited by TikTok’s Business Products Data Terms.

Pinterest advertising and measurement

We use or may use Pinterest business and advertising tools provided by Pinterest, Inc. and its affiliates, including the Pinterest Tag, Pinterest Conversions API, Automatic Enhanced Match, Pinterest Ads Manager, Catalogs, and Pinterest’s Shopify integration.

These technologies help us:

  • measure visits, product interactions, cart activity, checkout activity, purchases, and advertising performance;

  • attribute conversions to Pinterest content or advertising;

  • optimize campaigns and measure advertising audiences;

  • improve product distribution and shopping experiences on Pinterest.

  • page URLs, referral information, timestamps, and campaign information;

When Automatic Enhanced Match is enabled, information voluntarily entered into website or checkout form fields may be transformed into SHA-256 hashed values before being shared with Pinterest. Pinterest may also use first-party browser storage to retain hashed values for matching, measurement, and attribution. Although hashing protects the raw value, hashed identifiers may still constitute personal information under applicable law.

Pinterest may combine information received from our store with information associated with Pinterest users for advertising measurement, attribution, audience matching, campaign optimization, security, and other purposes described in Pinterest’s applicable terms and privacy notices.
